CrankTours connects riders and "bike demo days" in their region, where riders can really try out a bike before they buy it.
The idea came from a rider who got frustrated at missing events because he couldn't keep up with all the different websites and social media sources for such events. So why not aggregate the information and let all riders benefit from it.
While not 100% accurate or complete at the moment, our goal is to improve it over time. We are working first with bike companies to establish consistent communications about demo day and relevant events. We will also work with local bike shops, but they'll need to reach out to us.
